Vern McCollough is the owner of American Leak Detection serving Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. He established the Eastern Oklahoma franchise in 1995 and has since expanded operations to include the Kansas and Missouri territories, building one of the region’s most trusted leak detection companies.

Born in Hobbs, New Mexico, Vern proudly served in the United States Navy before earning his degree from Oklahoma State University. Following graduation, he worked as an engineer in California, where he also began raising his family.

Driven by a desire to create a better balance between his professional and family life, Vern purchased the American Leak Detection franchise in Eastern Oklahoma. Through his leadership, dedication to customer service, and commitment to technical excellence, the business has grown steadily over the years while maintaining its family-owned values.

Today, Vern remains actively involved in the company alongside four of his six children who work within the organization. He is also the proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren. His commitment to family, integrity, and exceptional service continues to shape the culture and success of American Leak Detection throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.

Zane McCollough has been a dedicated member of the American Leak Detection team since 2017. Beginning his career as a helper, he quickly advanced into a technician role, demonstrating a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence. After earning his Oklahoma Plumbing Contractor License, Zane transitioned into leadership as General Manager and later advanced to chief Operating Officer.

Throughout his career, Zane has remained focused on one core mission: delivering the best customer experience in the industry. His passion for serving customers, supporting team member, and continuously improving operations reflects the values that are at the heart of American Leak Detection.

Trace McCollough serves as the Marketing and Fleet Manager for American Leak Detection of Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Since joining the company in 2021, he has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s brand presence, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and overseeing fleet operations to ensure the organization continues to operate efficiently and effectively.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Trace brings a well-rounded perspective to his role. In addition to leading marketing efforts, he has spent time working alongside technicians in the field, gaining valuable firsthand knowledge of the company’s services, operational processes, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their pets, staying active through basketball, practicing the art of juggling, and following the world of Formula 1 racing.

Zoe McCollough serves as the Human Resources Manager for American Leak Detection of Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri, overseeing employee relations, talent development, benefits administration, and day-to-day human resources operations.

Since joining the company in 2017, she has worked in nearly every area of the business throughout her career, Zoe brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of the company’s operations. Her hands-on experience across multiple departments allows her to effectively support team members at every level and contribute to the continued growth and success of the organization.

Zoe is passionate about developing strong teams, creating a positive employee experience, and ensuring the company’s family-oriented values remain at the heart of its culture. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs, traveling, and pursuing her passion for photography. She is also deeply committed to serving her community and actively supports several nonprofit organizations, including the Oklahoma Parkinson’s Alliance, Tulsa Girls Home, Emerge Global, the Oklahoma Blood Institute, and the Tulsa Day Center.

Chris Davis serves as the CEO and CFO of American Leak Detection, bringing more than 45 years of experience in business management, finance, and leadership. He attended UCT–Tulsa and Langston University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Chris is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Throughout his distinguished career, Chris has held numerous leadership roles with extensive responsibilities in business management, financial analysis, operational reporting, and strategic planning. His depth of knowledge and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in guiding organizations toward long-term growth and success.

Outside of work, Chris has been happily married for 46 years and is the proud father of two daughters. He enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family. He is also passionate about giving back to the community and proudly supports John 3:16 Mission, reflecting his commitment to serving others both professionally and personally.

Kris Matranga serves as the Dispatch Supervisor at American Leak Detection and has been with the company since 2023. Kris is known for his ability to manage fast-paced environments, solve problems efficiently, and support both customers and field teams with consistency and care.

Originally from California, Kris attended Santa Ana College and brings a unique professional background that includes several years of customer service training and experience with The Walt Disney Company at Disneyland.

Outside of work, Kris is a devoted husband and father of three daughters. He also has three dogs and is actively involved in supporting the ASPCA. In his free time, Kris enjoys sharing his many hidden talents, including magic, which reflects his creativity and engaging personality.

Gabe Parks serves as the Eastern Oklahoma Regional Field Supervisor for American Leak Detection and has been a key member of the team since 2017. With extensive experience in both plumbing and leak detection, Gabe has built a reputation for his technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to delivering exceptional service. His years in the industry have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to confidently manage even the most complex leak detection and plumbing challenges.

As a licensed plumber and certified diver, Gabe brings a unique combination of qualifications that allows him to excel in a wide range of residential, commercial, and specialty leak detection applications.

In addition to his technical credentials, Gabe is an ordained minister and is deeply committed to serving both his community and his family. He and his girlfriend are proud parents of three children, and family remains at the center of his life. When he is not working or spending time with his family, Gabe enjoys playing the guitar and pursuing his passion for music.

Brock Rutter is a highly skilled Leak Detection Specialist and Plumber who has been with American Leak Detection since 2013. With extensive experience across a wide range of plumbing systems, he has developed a strong specialization in commercial properties, where his technical expertise and problem-solving abilities are especially valuable.

A graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Brock is known for his strong mechanical aptitude and practical approach to troubleshooting, consistently contributing to high-quality outcomes for customers and the company alike.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his Labrador, fishing, and working on mechanical projects.

Shelby Hampton has been a dedicated member of American Leak Detection since 2001 and currently serves as a Senior Leak Detection Specialist and Plumber. With over 20 years of experience in the plumbing and leak detection industry, Shelby brings a comprehensive skill set and deep technical knowledge that allows him to confidently manage all aspects of complex plumbing and leak detection work.

He attended both the University of Central Oklahoma and Rogers State University. Throughout his long tenure with the company, Shelby has built a strong reputation for reliability, craftsmanship, and exceptional problem-solving ability.

Shelby is married and the proud parent of one daughter, along with three pets. Outside of work, he is an accomplished guitarist who enjoys performing with his band, as well as woodworking—pursuits that reflect his creativity, precision, and dedication to his craft.

Colby Young is a highly skilled Leak Detection Specialist who has been with American Leak Detection since 2019. With years of hands-on experience in the field, he brings a strong technical background and the ability to confidently handle a wide range of job situations.

Colby is known for his professionalism, adaptability, and dedication to delivering accurate and efficient solutions for customers.

Outside of work, he is married and the proud father of one daughter. He also has one dog, two snakes, and a fish. Colby is actively involved with local animal rescue organizations as well as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, reflecting his strong commitment to supporting both animal welfare and mental health awareness in his community

Jamie Carpenter is a Customer Service Representative at American Leak Detection who has been an integral part of the team since 2022. Prior to joining the company, she spent several years working in the IT industry, developing strong problem-solving skills and a passion for helping others.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband, her four children, and her three dogs. She is an avid reader, enjoys gardening, and finds fulfillment in giving back to her community. Deeply committed to serving others, Jamie actively supports local efforts that assist individuals experiencing homelessness and is always eager to contribute to causes that make a positive impact. Her compassion, dedication, and servant-hearted approach are reflected in both her personal life and her work at American Leak Detection.

Seth Escue is a Field Technician at American Leak Detection and has been a valued member of the team since 2023. Driven by a strong work ethic and a passion for professional growth, Seth is dedicated to mastering the plumbing trade and expanding his expertise in the specialized field of leak detection.

In addition to his plumbing experience, Seth is dive certified. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two pets. Whether on the job or in his personal life, Seth approaches every challenge with determination, curiosity, and a desire to continually improve

Celso Garcia is a Field Technician at American Leak Detection who has been a dedicated member of the team since 2021. Known for his eagerness to learn, Celso is committed to mastering the specialized craft of leak detection and continually expanding his knowledge and skills in the field.

Outside of work, Celso is a devoted husband and proud father to his daughter. When he's not on the job, Celso can often be found enjoying the outdoors through camping, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys relaxing with video games in his spare time. Whether at work or at home, Celso approaches everything he does with dedication, perseverance, and a positive attitude.

Kyle Williams is a Leak Detection Specialist at American Leak Detection who has been serving customers since 2022. With extensive knowledge of plumbing systems and a strong commitment to quality workmanship, Kyle takes pride in helping customers accurately diagnose and resolve even the most challenging leak issues. His technical expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to customer service make him a valuable member of the team.

Outside of work, Kyle is a devoted husband and proud father of two sons. He and his family also share their home with three beloved dogs. In his free time, Kyle enjoys tackling home renovation and improvement projects, always looking for new ways to build, repair, and create. His hands-on approach, problem-solving mindset, and strong work ethic carry through from his personal life to the exceptional service he provides every day. 

Amanda Gifford is a Customer Service Representative at American Leak Detection who has been a valued member of the team since 2022. Known for her friendly personality, compassionate spirit, and dedication to helping others, Amanda takes pride in providing exceptional service to customers.

A devoted mother of two and proud grandmother to several grandchildren, family is at the heart of everything she does. Having spent much of her life in the beautiful state of Montana, Amanda developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling whenever she has the chance. Guided by her strong faith and a passion for serving others, she is committed to giving back to her community and making a positive impact in the lives of those around her. Amanda’s kindness, reliability, and genuine care for people shine through in both her personal life and her work at American Leak Detection.

Chris Treuter is a highly skilled Drain Technician with more than 26 years of plumbing experience and has been a valued member of the American Leak Detection team since 2013. Throughout his career, Chris has built a reputation for his technical expertise, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering quality service to every customer.

His extensive industry knowledge allows him to effectively diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing and drain issues, making him a trusted resource for both customers and fellow team members. Chris takes pride in helping people and approaches every job with professionalism and attention to detail.
