Joined ALD in 2017

Joining the team in February 2017, Alan has extensive experience in problem solving for household issues and he was a fast learner in locating leaks. Although he was born in Miami, Alan traveled extensively growing up. His mother was a “traveling nurse” so he lived in numerous interesting destinations including Rotterdam in the Netherlands. He considers himself an “outdoorsman” and especially enjoys his motorcycle and fishing. When asked what he most likes about working with American Leak Detection he says that he loves being able to help people, it is fun to make a difference by solving people’s problems.

Prior to joining our team, Dan had previously worked at an Anesthesia Equipment manufacturer. He worked in the assembly department and eventually went into the field service department working in many various hospitals. Dan is originally from Pennsylvania and attended Ursinus college to study business management. His current hobby is riding and camping at River Ranch. Dan has been with us since September 2003 and enjoys finding various leaks for our customers.

If Danny makes a visit to your pool, you may find yourself trying to guess just where that accent came from. Danny was born and raised in Oldham, England. He came to the states for the sunshine, opportunity, and the friendlier people. Apparently, his expectations were met because he has now been with us since February 2001. Danny is a valuable member of our team, he enjoys the challenges of pool leaks and repairs, and enjoys meeting new customers.

Our second longest team member is Freddy who came on board June 1996. Originally from Long Island, this New Yorker decided to move to sunny South Florida in 1995. It proved to be a good move for Freddy, he found his wife here and they have a beautiful daughter. What might be most interesting about Fred is his passion to collect old and new action figures which are mostly bought and sold in Europe. When it’s too nice to be inside, you can find Freddy cruising on his custom Honda motorcycle.

Neill came to us from London, he moved to the U.S. in 1993. He started with us December 2006. Neill and his wife participate in annual fund raisers to support Special Olympics. If you asked Neill what he likes most about leak detection is the day to day challenges of each unique leak.

Joined ALD in 2014

Tom is a native south Floridian, born and raised in Palm Beach County. He attended Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, and has worked various interesting jobs, from restoring classic cars, to being an artist at a metal art studio, to managing that studio! In his free time, Tom enjoys boating, fishing, and tinkering on all things mechanical. He's quite the gear head, and loves his Camaro and his motorcycles. Tom has a passion for history and antiques of all kinds. At home, you could find him honing a vintage straight razor or examining a world war two Camel cigarettes advertisement. When it comes to leak detecting, it only comes natural to Tom, a mechanically minded problem-solver.

Kris is a lifetime local from right here in Jupiter. His hobbies include motorcycles and cooking. He wanted to join ALD because of our great reputation. He is extremely personable and enjoys the challenge of finding leaks and helping people in need.

Tracy came on board in February 2018.  Tracy relocated to Jupiter FL in 2014 with her husband and daughter and she is very excited to have landed in sunny Jupiter. Tracy was born and raised in the South, her bubbly personality makes our customers feel especially welcome. Tracy has her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and enjoys traveling, gardening, and home decorating.

Jill was born and raised in South Jersey. She and her family moved to Florida in 2015. She graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and has over ten years of experience with Human Resources and Bookkeeping. Jill enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and being outdoors. 

Hello, my name is Chris. I'm glad to be back working at American Leak Detection! I enjoy working outdoors, which is why I'm on the pool leak detection and repair side of the company.

I was born and raised here in South Florida and have two beautiful daughters, Elia and Aurora. I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, and anything that keeps me active outdoors.

I was a boat captain for about ten years in Fort Lauderdale and traveled around the Bahamas for years chasing those prized trophy fish that every angler dreams of catching.

We are pleased to welcome Colin to our team as a Leak Detection Technician. Colin brings valuable hands-on experience from his previous role as an Audio Video Technician at Definitive Electronics, where he managed the installation, configuration, and servicing of comprehensive AV systems — including audio, video, access control, security cameras, and lighting control.

Outside of work, Colin is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for adventure. Whether he’s hitting the trails on his bike, fishing, or searching shorelines and riverbanks for shark teeth, his love for nature and exploration speaks to his curious and driven character.

Since joining American Leak Detection, Colin has proven to be a tremendous asset to our team, consistently delivering exceptional customer service. We are excited to have him on board!
